The Melbourne International Arts Festival Artist Card 2008

Due to the valued impact of the Artist Card initiative over the last three years, the Melbourne International Arts Festival is delighted to once again be able to invite professional, practicing artists of all disciplines to engage with the Festival at our best rate - by seeing shows, attending forums, discussions, workshops, and by relaxing with staff and visiting artists at our Artist Lounge in October.

Regardless of whether an artist or company is in the Festival program, we acknowledge that some of the most valuable research any artist can engage in is being able to afford a wide range of new works gaining international recognition and the public discussions and debates that develop around these works. Increasing access and affordability for local artists is therefore a critically important issue for the Festival. We encourage all artists to secure a 2008 Artist Card this year and make the most of the discounts available to maximise their festival experience.

The Artist Card is limited, and the Festival wants Australian artists to have first go at the best seats, so make sure you don't miss out - get your card now!

What does the Artist Card offer?
