What can't I take into Australia?

To avoid delays to your performance, please contact the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service (AQIS) as soon as possible with details of your instruments, costumes and other equipment at Airports@aqis.gov.au.  You will be advised of what items are prohibited, if any treatments are required and the time required for these treatments.  Some treatments may require several weeks and depend upon the passenger's original point of travel and other factors.
