Melbourne Festival is introducing the Festival Widget this year so that you can easily access your Festival Diary directly from your desktop or sidebar. You can have up-to-date information regarding tickets that are sold out and selling fast just by clicking on the date and scrolling down through the various events on that day. All you have to do is follow the simple instructions below.

Depending on which search engine you use, we currently have two widgets available for download:

Google Sidebar (Windows XP)

To use the Melbourne Festival Widget, first you need to have the Google Desktop with the Sidebar installed. This can be downloaded from http://desktop.google.com//

To install the Melbourne Festival Sidebar Widget for Google:

• click here
• when prompted, select "open"
• once it has downloaded, select "OK" to install

Vista Sidebar Gadget (Vista)

To install the Melbourne Festival Sidebar Gadget for Vista:

• click here to download the gadget
• if a security window appears, select "allow"
